The Thai State of Mind

What do I have to say about the “Thai” state of mind? I’m not sure what analogies to pull out of my analogy bag? You get what you give — Peace is more than a state of mind — When your Smiling, when your smiling, the whole world smiles with you. –(Oh Yea, that’s an old song)
I guess the Buddhist saying “Don’t sweat the small stuff — It’s all small stuff” sums it up.
Thai folks are unpretentios, and they say what they feel without any agenda. Take this sign for example. You don’t want people farting on your bus so you post this icon:
All I can say is it felt to me like the Thai culture has at it’s core “peacefulness.”
I did see some kids playing “shoot-em-up” video games on a few occasions, and frankly I felt a bit ashamed that this is one of the imports from the West.
Curtesy, openness and honesty are traits that Thais embrace and I seek out in all my relations wherever in the Universe I may be.
That’s about all I have to say on my Thailand travel blog. Here’s another short clip highlighting my next destination. (Click the link below)
